1) Describe briefly the study plan you opted for while preparing for the boards?
The main plan was consistency and regularities in studies. I also learnt that it is more productive to be focused and study for shorter periods of time with the utmost concentration and effort ,rather than to spend long hours at once.
2) What were the key challenges and how did you tackle them?
The key challenge, for me was to accept and understand that my studies would take the top priority this year, and that i had to reduce time spent on other activities and sports. i was able to inculcate good time management skills as the year progressed.
3) How did you deal with pressure to perform?
I am happy to say that I did not experience any pressure from my parents, or anyone else for that matter. The icing on the cake was the arrival of my dog Benji whose presence completely removed any stress related to studies that I had!
4) How did you motivate yourself?
From the start i knew i wanted to do well in my boards. In order to do so, i also knew that i had to put in the hard work to achieve those results. I always had the goal in mind , to prepare well and give my best in the exams.
5) How did you balance academics with other activities?
My school really helped me in this aspect. They encouraged me to play sports and at the same time to maintain my grades. I am especially grateful to my principal, teachers and friends for teaching me to balance schoolwork with other activities
6)What would you like to tell future aspirants?
My message to future aspirants would be not to just stick with textbooks, school can teach you a lot more than just grades. Bring a good mix of extra curricular activities like sports and studies. Believe in yourself, be optimistic and work hard. All the besta

– Describe briefly the study plan you opted for while preparing for the boards?
Aryan: I used to study every day and always enjoyed studies. I used to maintain a separate notebook for all formulae, diagrams and important concepts.
- What were the key challenges and how did you tackle them?
Aryan:My key challenges were to meet the family expectations and that of my teachers. To cope up with peer pressure, and not to think of results was also important. I got a lot of moral support from my family, they insisted that I should focus on my effort and not on the outcome. This helped me remain focused.
- How did you deal with pressure to perform?
Aryan: I just focused on what should I study and followed my teachers and parents’ advice. My mother said not to worry about the future and just had to give my best.
- How did you motivate yourself?
Aryan: My parents knew that I would do well. They inspired me to write like a topper: neat, write to the point, good presentation and content. I thought if others can do it, why can’t I?
- How did you balance academics with other activities?
Aryan: I used to watch TV for an hour after my studies. Also, I used to play cricket with my friends in the evening for 1 hour. After dinner, I used to listen to music to relax.
- What would you like to tell future aspirants?
Aryan: I would like to tell the future aspirants that don’t take stress while studying, just give your best. These exams are a part of life. Enjoy whatever you are doing, then you would get the best results. Nurture your talent in any field that interests you.

Ans. I did not opt for a specific study plan. But at the same time I made sure that I achieved the daily targets what I had assigned for myself for the particular day.Apart from this what I very well knew that this requires not only the technical knowledge but also the skill to keep oneself fit and healthy.
2.What were the key challenges and how did you tackle them?
Ans. I would say my preparation for the boards was no less than a challenge as a whole. Time management and difficulty to covers the vast portions for each subject was indeed challenging.
But I never panicked and tried to stay calm and composed throughout my preparation to use my own potential to the optimum.
3. How did you deal with pressure to perform?
Ans. In actual terms I never faced the pressure to perform. My parents and the school had complete confidence in me and guided me throughout the year which in turn was a huge pressure relief.
4. How did you motivate yourself?
Ans. A positive and a clean study atmosphere along with the constant motivation of teachers and parents played a major role in terms of self motivation.
5. How did you balance academics with other activities?
Ans. Academics and co-cirricular activities both went hand in hand. Activities never barred my interest or devotion for studies. I always made a point to balance each of it through an advanced preparation for any of them. I did not keep anything for the last minute.
6. What would you like to tell future aspirants?
Ans. My one and only advice would be you must commit yourself to a proper schedule like this and you will see an immense improvement in the subsequent days. With strategies like these, you will achieve the target of getting a distinction easily in any exam, and not just in your 10th board exams.

I started preparing for the board exam seriously from Jan onwards. Subjects were divided into tough and easy ones. More time was devoted to cover the tough subjects and were revised more. I took the pre-board exam as a precursor for the final exam. Pre-board evaluation helped me a lot in discovering the weaknesses in my preparation and I work a lot on the shortcoming which helped me a lot in the end.
What were the key challenges and how did you tackle them?
We need to cover the entire the syllabus this year which in my opinion was the biggest challenge. To tackle this, I devoted more time covering the syllabus.
How did you deal with pressure to perform?
My parents helped me a lot and remined me that this is just a small milestone. This took away the fear of failure from me. Taking small breaks and playing guitar helped to reduce pressure.
How did you motivate yourself?
Whenever I felt that I was lost, I used to seek help from my parents and teachers. They helped me to stay focussed on my goal.
How did you balance academics with other activities?
It was all about planning. I had worked on a daily plan for studying and also for activities like playing guitar and reading books. Sticking to the plan helped me to balance the activities.
