Dear Parents,

Greetings from Alpine Public School!

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step — A step into the corridors of Alpine Public School, creates a passion for learning in an institution that is dynamic and constantly seeking excellence to meet the needs of the present as well as the future.

The school strongly believes in inculcating education with strong ethical and moral value systems. Alpine is committed to the complete development of a student; this includes academic knowledge, social skills, intellectual curiosity, Physical endurance with more emphasis on self-analysis.

Our classrooms take a more expansive view. Lively discussion, wide reading, thoughtful engagement with the best that has been thought and said –but that is just the beginning of a strong intellectual ethos. Foundational skills such as essay-writing, research skills and information literacy are explicitly taught in a clear progression. We encourage them to move on from here to National and International competitive platforms.

Empathy and Endurance are two actions that we passionately share in the school. The staff at Alpine have set high academic standards and our aim is to develop in our students the character, disposition and skills they will need to flourish in and contribute to a world of complexity and change.

The sudden change in the education system during 2020-21 did not deter us from our vision or mission. Each member of the Alpine fraternity stood steadfast and helped one another move on with the learning process. Its with great pride that we humbly showcase our numerous National and International awards received during this pandemic time.

The school has maintained an ‘Open door’ system. Parents/ guardians are a part of the school day to day activities and they channelize the creativity that has been learnt into a better community.

With tolerance and mutual respect to one another, the students persevere through all times making an effort, to accept the challenge of the new or different, to communicate and co-operate with others. This is made possible with the positive, honest and warm assistance from the thoughtful adults around them.

The doors of Alpine is open to Parents at all times as we strongly believe that Teaching and parenting is a privileged and sacred trust and the closer we work together, the more fruitful it is for our children. Extensive research has shown that students achieve more in school when their parents are involved in their education. A parent’s interest and encouragement in the child’s education can affect the child’s attitude toward school, classroom conduct, self-esteem, absenteeism, and motivation.

So, lets move hand in hand, with a complimenting rapport and as a strong pillar for the students during their education journey.

Warm Regards

Jaya Shastry
